Why "Evenings and Weekends" Are Part of the Job for Me

There is truly no better feeling in this business than handing over the keys to a new homeowner. It is the culmination of weeks (sometimes months) of searching, negotiating, and navigating paperwork.
But for me, the real reward isn't just closing the deal—it’s knowing that my client felt supported and confident every single step of the way.
Recently, I had the pleasure of helping Lakell S. purchase his very first home. First-time homebuyers hold a special place in my heart because I know how daunting the process can look from the outside. There are so many moving parts, new terms, and big decisions to make.
Lakell recently left a review that I wanted to share because it highlights exactly what I strive to do for every single client I work with:
“Used Brandon to buy my first home and couldn't have picked a better realtor. Brandon explained all of the next steps clearly and made himself available whenever I had questions (including evenings and weekends). It’s obvious he cares about the experience.”— Lakell S.
Breaking Down the Experience
When I read this, two things stood out to me that I want to promise to all my future clients:
1. Clarity is King Lakell mentioned that I "explained all of the next steps clearly." Real estate jargon can be confusing. My goal is to translate the contract language into plain English so you never feel like you are signing something you don't understand. You should never have to guess what comes next.
2. Real Estate Happens After 5 PM The housing market doesn't pause at 5:00 PM on a Friday. In fact, that is when things often heat up! I make it a point to be available evenings and weekends because I know that is when my clients have time to view homes or ask burning questions. If you are stressed about an inspection on a Saturday night, I want you to be able to text me and get peace of mind immediately.
Lakell’s kind words mean the world to me, and I am proud to say this sentiment is shared by many others. That is over 90 families and individuals who trusted me with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Whether you are buying your first home like Lakell, or selling your third investment property, my approach remains the same: I care about your experience, not just the transaction.
Thank you, Lakell, for trusting me with this milestone!
