A client recently asked me, "Hey Brandon, I'm really excited about buying my first home here in Collin County, but I'm a bit nervous about my credit score. What's the absolute minimum credit score I need to buy a house?"


That's an excellent question, and it's one I hear all the time, especially from first time home buyers. The truth is, there isn't one single, magic number that applies to everyone.
